Fresh Fruit

By Jim Pappas - Posted on 10 July 2010

Success Building is a never-ending attitude that leads a great business towards freshness. Old, gnarly ways of doing things must be an easy thing to take note of and change. It’s easy to spot smelly, rotting, disgusting fruit… but by then, how many prospects have gone elsewhere, or worse yet, how many prospects AND CUSTOMERS have developed a much better nose than you have for your product or service?
Yikes… now we can’t let that happen, so what can we do to stay in the Fresh Fruit section of the market?

Stay focused on improvement. Lots of little things are always missing with every new system or process. What’s missing? What step is un-necessary? Slice and dice with an eye on the results. Adjust and test… iteration is your friend!

Be Nimble! How quickly can you execute a new marketing idea? How fast can you implement a new client follow-up system? If you have to think about how you will execute anything the sound you will soon hear is your competitor’s tongue slurping up that big honking prospect from your lily pad! (...sorry, I know this is way off the fruit theme, but it just made for such an action packed, entertaining image… it's critical to the continued  success of our blog that we keep our readers on the edge of their Success Building seats).

Care.
Simply said, this is always the freshest and best fruit of them all!
