Santa's Secret

Dear Cloud Builder,

Time again for an update on the comings and goings with The North Pole Business System. It seems like I just sent last year's update, Santa's Cloud System, as well as the two prior annual updates; Santa's Update and Santa's Dilemma. This year has been a real eye-opener as we have taken full flight with our new Cloud business system.

It's extremly important that we keep this on the low down... this must be kept confidential.  

So much has changed.

There's less noise. In years past we were constantly confronted with fix and break issues that caused all sorts of moaning and groaning with the elves. I shudder to think about all the sleep I lost, worried about maintaining and updating our hardware and software. With our new cloud system, those days are over. Now, we simply login with a username and password to our Google Apps for The North Pole Business System and leave all the brain damage to the good people at Google. We freed up the square footage we were using to house all those bulky, expensive servers.  The elves are using the space for a video game development idea that blossomed over the last few months via our new inter-office chat initiative... another cool feature in our Google Apps system. I’m going to make sure all the good people at Google get something special this year!

We are significantly more productive. Our ability to manage data, systems and people has dramatically changed. With your kind recommendations, we have fully implemented Solve360 CRM & Project Management and Zendesk for our help desk ticketing system. We love the integration between the solutions. The mix is a perfect fit for our team as we consistently work with contacts, projects and support in a seamless, intuitive environment that is free from all the fuss and bother in our old system.

The North Pole now has a completely different mind set. Sure, we are still focused on delivering special Holiday gifts to all the good girls and boys throughout the world; but now, with our new cloud system, we have discovered a bushel basket of new growth opportunities. In addition to those nifty new video games, we are also branching out with some North Pole mobile apps that are a perfect fit bundled with all the Holiday smart phone orders we process. Our database is no longer just a long, burdensome list of names. Now our data is dynamic and easy to work with. We are doing effective target marketing, developing key new relationships and exploring exciting new markets. Our new cloud system makes it easy to design and test new strategies and tactics.

Jolly old Santa has been very pleased with the results!

Cloud Building has been a difference maker for Santa and his crew! We would prefer that you only share this with your closest friends and business associates... the world clearly prefers the good old fashioned Santa according to all of our recent cloud surveys. It’s imperative that you keep this on the hush hush... and keep up the good work... maybe this will be the year you find something special in your stocking... but again, don’t count on any of the 248 items you listed in this year’s Letter to Santa...
